READY FOR AN UPGRADE?

Xtreme Clutch’s twin plate sprung upgrade kits are proving popular both here and overseas

Xtreme Clutch says the popularity of its twin plate sprung upgrade kits can be attributed to the new innovative design which results in exceptional driveability in high powered street vehicle applications.
As Xtreme Clutch – part of Australian Clutch Services (ACS) – continues to innovate and evolve their clutch technology, an increased number of applications become available year by year.
These twin plate upgrade kits are manufactured in two sizes (230mm and 270mm), with both engineered to suit a variety of vehicle applications.
All kits come with the necessary components respective of their specific vehicle application such as a concentric slave cylinder (CSC)/release bearing, pilot/spigot bearing, alignment tool and pressure plate bolts as required.
The multi-plate 270mm sprung kits are suited to high powered V8 applications and utilise a performance flywheel, heavy duty pressure plate and a strap driven intermediate plate designed to reduce noise in comparison to floating style intermediate plates.
The multi-plate 230mm kits incorporate a race inspired design and include a lightweight alloy pressure plate available with a rolled or flat tip diaphragm, intermediate plate and chromoly flywheel.
“The sprung organic range of upgrades has already proven very popular with performance tuning groups and our distributor base around the world,” Australian Clutch Services Sales Manager, Colin Jevons, said.
“The sprung version of these twin plates helps to improve dampening and is ideally suited to daily driven performance street cars that have far exceeded the capabilities of a single plate upgrade.
“With a 1000 Nm torque capacity and exceptional driveability, these kits are becoming the go-to for many of our performance customers around the world.”
Xtreme Performance Clutch also offers a sprung ceramic 230mm twin plate upgrade for motorsport applications where reduced shock loading is required.
