SCHAEFFLER SHOWCASES SOLUTIONS FOR TODAY, TOMORROW AND THE FUTURE

‘Your business is our focus’ was the tagline of Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket at AAAExpo

Motion technology company Schaeffler showcased its complete portfolio of market and future-oriented repair solutions for combustion engines, hybrid, and electric vehicles at the Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo (AAAExpo).
The “Your business is our focus” tagline was reflected in new products from Schaeffler’s three product brands, LuK, INA and FAG, at the stand, which focused on taking a close look at the daily repair routines and future technologies garages can expect to see coming through their doors in the near future.
With its repair solution for e-axles, the ‘Schaeffler E-Axle RepSystem-G,’ exhibited at the Expo for the first time, Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket gave visitors a chance to get up close to this technology and experience the ease of use of its repair solutions.
“Schaeffler’s focus is on providing garages
with access to the technologies and expertise they need to tackle the influx of EV and hybrid vehicles coming through their doors,” Schaeffler Head of Automotive Aftermarket Australia, Warren Barnett, said.
“The technologies presented at this year’s AAAE, including our digital REPXPERT portal, equip garages to deal with the changing automotive landscape while also ensuring customers that we will continue to provide support for the repair of traditional combustion engines.”
Schaeffler’s stand was structured around two main ideas: ‘Future Readiness’ and ‘Repair Assistance.’
Future Readiness focuses on the needs of customers and includes repair solutions such as the LuK C0 disconnect clutch repair kit for hybrids, the second-generation INA Thermal Management Module for vehicles with automatic start/ stop or hybrid drive, and the latest wheel bearing generations of the proven FAG WheelSet.
Visitors also had the chance to get up close to the 800-volt 3in1 E-axle and the latest TriFinity wheel bearings with face spline technology.
Repair assistance support was also focused at the stand this year through Schaeffler’s REPXPERT service brand.
While REPXPERT bundles digital service solutions such as workshop manuals, visitors also had the opportunity to interact with a number of special tools on display offered through the REPXPERT brand.
These special tools were created to assist with anything from changing a 2CT double clutch and mounting a crankshaft pulley to changing the timing drive.
Visitors could also try out Schaeffler OneCode – a special QR code found on the LuK, INA and FAG packaging, which is easy to use and expands the company’s digital service offering.
Schaeffler is investing in the local market by warehousing stock in Australia, a first for Schaeffler in the Australian market, with customers now having access to a large range of products that can be delivered without the need for extended wait times.
