Modern vehicle systems require more capable power distribution modules (PDMs), featuring additional distribution points and internal support for a diverse array of components, including relays, fuses, and diodes in various configurations.
Prolec says it is proud to introduce a new line of high-density Power Distribution Module Kits.
These sealed PDM-R Series kits offer multiple mounting options and housing designs that support both low and high power components.
The stackable design allows for easy upgrades, and custom labelling is available for both the top cover and internal bases.
Each kit includes a selection of compatible terminals, cable seals, and cavity plugs.
Prolec says these PDM-R Series kits are engineered to meet the rigorous environmental standards typical of today’s transportation systems.
Each module features a durable thermoplastic enclosure with silicone seals to guard against dust and moisture, achieving an IP66 Ingress Protection rating when all cavities are filled.
Currently, three new kit designs are available, with two more in development. The lineup includes a 48-way open-plan low-power module compatible with 2.8mm Mini fuses, Mini circuit breakers, ISO280 relays, and other 280-series components.
Additionally, there are two high power PDMs – one that accommodates six Maxi blade fuses, and another that supports two Maxi blade fuses alongside two Mini relays.
