START DEAD BATTERIES

With NOCO Jump Starters

The NOCO Boost Max Jump Starter range has just landed at Repco, delivering lithium jump starters that are light weight, ultra-safe and powerful enough to jump start petrol and diesel cars up to 32L.
The Boost Max series is designed for the largest, most challenging engine starts. With 5250 amps of starting power, the GB250 can jump start 12-volt petrol and diesel engines up to 16 litres. Furthermore, the GB251 can jump start 24-volt engines up to 32L.
The GB250 jump starter has the capacity to start trucks, motorhomes, coaches, buses, mining, agricultural, and construction equipment with six, eight, 12, or 16 cylinders, and more.
Featuring second-generation patented safety protection, it can be connected to any 12V system.
Repco states the mistake-proof design features spark-proof technology and reverse polarity protection. It also has a countdown timer that will switch the unit off after 60 seconds of cranking to protect itself.
The new technology in the Boost Max range means they also reportedly recharge four times faster than earlier models from a vehicle’s auxiliary port or via the supplied power adapter.
Weighing in at 6.7kg, the GB250 is significantly lighter than commercial vehicle jump starters of earlier generations that could weigh more than 100kg.
The included carry case means it can easily and safely be carried on-board for self-rescue of large commercial vehicles. It measures at 315 x 155 x 93 (L x W x H mm), making it easily portable.
It is not just a lithium jump starter, but also a portable power bank, with two 5V 2.1A USB ports capable of recharging smartphones, tablets, and other USB devices multiple times.
It is equipped with an ultra-bright 600-lumen LED flashlight with seven light modes, including emergency strobe and SOS. It also has an integrated digital battery voltmeter to enable diagnostics.
Alongside the jump starter, the package includes a 56W XGC power adapter, a 60cm 12-volt XGC cable, and the protective carrying case.
The 12V jump starter generates 5250A peak starting current and is suitable for use with all lead-acid battery systems. The internal lithium-ion battery has a capacity of 242 watt-hours, and an operating temperature range between -20°C to +50°C.
The unit is covered by a one-year limited warranty by NOCO Australia.
