The partnership brings Bilstein to Korea’s new luxury class

Genesis, the premium brand of the Hyundai Motor Group, has set out to establish a distinctly Korean take on automotive luxury.
Bilstein, which explains its suspension technology has long been trusted by manufacturers such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Porsche in the premium and luxury segment, is now bringing this expertise to Genesis as well.
As part of a new original equipment partnership, Bilstein’s suspension system has been selected for the latest generation of Genesis vehicles, underlining the brand’s ambitions in the upper class.
In the premium segment, driving comfort and handling are not just a nice-to-have – they are a core part of what customers pay for.
Buyers of luxury vehicles expect their car to glide over rough surfaces, respond precisely in corners, and feel composed in every situation, without exception.
Bilstein says this is exactly where its expertise comes in, stating that decades of joint development work with manufacturers such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Porsche have shown that the suspension specialist “understands what premium ride and handling really require – with this same standard now being applied to Genesis.”
The partnership adds to Bilstein’s growing portfolio of OE cooperations with renowned manufacturers, with the company stating it “reinforces its position as a technology leader across the automotive industry – from European sports cars to the new generation of Korean luxury vehicles.”
