FILTER GUARD

Updating Diesel Filtration is a delight, says Sakura Filters

In the ever-evolving world of automotive technology, every gearhead knows that water and diesel is a bad combination.
Sakura Filters says that is why, when it comes to keeping your diesel 4WDs and Utes in top condition, Filter Guard is the unsung hero you never knew you needed. And now, it is available in a new spin-on version.
Filter Guard is not just a filter, with Sakura Filters describing it as your engine’s best friend in the fight against diesel impurities.
It utilises a fuel-water separator to ensure water and other nasties are removed before it can cause faults with vital engine components.
Sakura Filters explains that vehicle/engine manufacturers are unlikely to warrant an engine if contaminated fuel is found.
It says this means each time you fill up, you roll the dice, never knowing if you will get a bad batch.
In most cases, your factory fuel filter will be sufficient, but Sakura Filters says Filter Guard ensures that water and bacterial blooms are removed and the cleanest fuel possible flows through your engine’s veins, helping to keep your injection system and engine contaminant free.
Now, Sakura Filters says Filter Guard’s latest update is here to take filtration to a whole new level.
A high-volume spin-on version has been introduced, with Sakura Filters stating it is “spinning heads and winning hearts amongst diesel fanatics.”
Similar to its predecessor, this spin-on assembly can cater to various filtration needs with 30, 10, or 2-micron elements.
Plus, it comes with AN-6 or AN-8 adaptors, so you can tailor it to your specific needs.
Whatever your needs, Sakura Filters says Filter Guard has you covered – and you can fit these spin-on filters to your pre-existing Filter Guard brackets with just a little tweak here and there.
What’s more, these spin-on elements may be shorter in stature to make draining/maintenance a breeze, but they also pack a punch with more media than their predecessor.
In conclusion, Sakura Filters states that its Filter Guard is not just a filter; it is a trusted sidekick for your diesel engine.
With the introduction of the spin-on version, Sakura Filters is updating and increasing its range with new vehicle-specific kits.
