The new Elite tray has been released following a 2.5 year investment

Norweld, a leading Australian premium 4WD aluminium tray and canopy manufacturer, has unveiled what it describes as a groundbreaking new generation tray design – the result of significant investment in research and development worth $750,000.
The first new ute tray release from the company in three years, Norweld says the Elite tray “reflects its commitment to offering the toughest, most durable products built to thrive in Australia’s harsh conditions, cementing its position as an innovative, market-leading manufacturer.”
The Elite tray launch comes after Norweld’s most successful year to date. Expanding to meet demand, in 2023 Norweld opened two new purpose-built facilities spanning 2,367sqm in Brisbane’s north and 2,573sqm in Perth and added more than 35 staff while experiencing 20 percent year-on-year company growth.
Norweld Director Jaime McIntosh said the new Elite tray represented the very best in Australian design, material quality and cutting-edge manufacturing capabilities that customers have trusted for more than 50 years.

Developed by Norweld’s in-house team of design and engineering experts, backed by over 50 years of aluminium fabrication and manufacturing expertise, Jaime said the Elite tray would take the business into the next phase of growth.
