ANTHONY KITTEL INDUCTED INTO AAAA HALL OF FAME

The REDARC Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director was celebrated on the first night of AAAE

At the Australian Auto Aftermarket Excellence Awards Banquet, REDARC Electronics Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Anthony Kittel, was announced as one of the latest inductees into the AAAA Hall of Fame.
REDARC is a South Australian based electronics manufacturer currently employing more than 300 people. Established in 1979, the multi-award winning REDARC manufactures a range of Power Conversion Products including Battery Management Systems, Power Supplies, DC/DC Voltage Converters and Inverters.
“I am absolutely surprised and shocked to be honest,” Anthony said upon being announced as an inductee.
“It has been a wonderful 25 years of owning REDARC and developing a business from eight people in Adelaide to a business of more than 300 people today; and revenue of less than 1 million to more than 150 million,” Anthony said.
“It has been an exciting journey. As everyone knows you have to have a great team of people and a great family to support you in this journey and I really appreciate everyone that has backed me and given me this opportunity to succeed.
“A belief in manufacturing in Australia is my passion and I believe this country can do and can continue to do much better than we have in the past. I have been glad to see a lot more focus on manufacturing, particularly during COVID, and a lot can happen in this country, commercialising IP and taking products to the world, and that is what REDARC’s aim is.
“I have always had a goal to have the REDARC brand be known internationally, and we are slowly but surely succeeding by breaking into the North America and European markets which was really pleasing, and we still have a long journey to go. I hope to see many more years to come in that success.
“I would like to thank our staff, they are a really committed bunch of people – you know when you are in the trenches, and you look alongside you and have a great team to support you, that is when you know you can do amazing things and we have really had some great successes over the years.
“The customer is the foundation of our business, and we have some magnificent customers in the room tonight, people that love our brand, people that support our brand and support us as a team, and I really appreciate everything everyone has done for us and our business and hopefully we are able to show that in spades back in the support we have been able to provide you.
“This is a continuous journey – people come to me and say REDARC is a great overnight success story but as you know, it is the result of those one percenters, those little things you do each and every year getting better and better, and we continue to strive to be a global company and a local success story.
“This industry supports us, and we are very thankful for what you have done for us and thankful for the results we have been able to achieve.
“I am just amazed and delighted to be a recipient tonight and be in such great company and I am very, very humbled to be accepting this award.”
