COOLDRIVE SUPPORTS THE NEXT GENERATION OF AUTOMOTIVE PROFESSIONALS AT WORLDSKILLS

The company was a sponsor of the 2023 WorldSkills National Championships

CoolDrive Auto Parts recently demonstrated its ongoing commitment to supporting skills excellence in the automotive industry through its sponsorship of the 2023 WorldSkills National Championships.
Held in Melbourne in August, the WorldSkills National Championships saw the country’s best trainees and apprentices go head-to-head in high-pressure skills competitions across a variety of categories.
CoolDrive sponsored the Auto Electrical, Auto Mechanic (Light and Heavy Vehicle) and Motorcycle Mechanic categories, as a show of support towards the next generation of mechanics and auto electricians.
CoolDrive’s Technical Training Team Member, Clint Flower, also served as a judge in the Auto Mechanic category and played an instrumental role in mentoring several competitors from New South Wales within this field.
“At CoolDrive, we are dedicated to fostering skills excellence and innovation within the automotive industry, and events such as WorldSkills provide the perfect opportunity for us to nurture the next generation of automotive professionals,” CoolDrive Auto Parts General Manager – Training and Development, Scott Williamson, said.
“These young talents are the future of our industry, and through these sorts of partnerships CoolDrive aims to inspire, mentor, and collaborate with these bright minds to drive progress.
“The 2023 WorldSkills National Championships was a fantastic event, and we would like to express our admiration for all those who competed – well done to you all.”
REDARC and SP Tools, partners of CoolDrive, also supported the Auto Electrical and Auto Mechanic categories through sponsorship and by providing tools and equipment.
