ENGINE MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS

CoolDrive says it has all your engine management needs covered

CoolDrive Auto Parts says it is cementing its position in the engine management sector with an expansive product range and service offering.
“CoolDrive’s move into engine management began in 2016 with the strategic acquisition of a number of highly skilled businesses to bring these specialists into the fold, as well as provide national Repair Centres,” CoolDrive Auto Parts Category Manager – Engine Management, Jarrod Hurst, said.
“These acquisitions included Automotive Computer Engineering, Australian Fuel Injection, Automotive Service Solutions and Logicar, and more recently Injectors Online, to provide the cornerstone of our engine management offering.
“Our engine management support team is one of the most knowledgeable in the local industry, bringing a combined total of over 100 years of experience.
“This experience, coupled with our industry-leading product range, have seen our sales grow exponentially to where we are now recognised as one of the market leaders in the EFI field.”
CoolDrive’s engine management product offering is headlined by AFI, an established brand of automotive petrol and diesel engine management components.
Complementing AFI are leading global brands including Denso, Bosch, Continental, Delphi, NTK, Walker, Nissens, BorgWarner, Valeo and Turbo Master Australia.
All manner of equipment and parts are available, including fuel pumps, turbo chargers, throttle bodies and vacuum pumps.
Diesel-specific components are also available, as are a huge array of sensors, EGR valves, coolers and both common rail diesel and fuel injectors, and more.
CoolDrive says it also has the very latest in diagnostic tools and equipment to help workshops diagnose engine faults and to tackle issues with greater confidence, efficiency and profitability.
“As vehicle systems, especially engine management systems, become more complex to contend with stricter rules on emissions and better fuel efficiency, it is getting harder and lengthier to diagnose vehicle faults,” Jarrod said.
“This can result in poor profitability, therefore modern workshops need the right equipment to help identify the fault correctly and quickly. This is where CoolDrive should be their first point of call.
“Whilst we have a comprehensive range of products, that isn’t actually what is at the core of our engine management offering.
“Our team’s focus is on offering the complete service. It is listening to our customers and workshops to ensure that the right products are used for the right job, that our expert knowledge is shared, and that quality work is completed, backed by a comprehensive guarantee.”
Enabling CoolDrive to provide this full-service offering are its three Electronic Repair Centres, which service all of Australia from Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.
The state-of-the-art centres provide a unique testing and repair service covering everything from obsolete early model systems to the latest in high technology.
CoolDrive’s highly trained staff have the expertise to test, diagnose and repair a wide range of systems, from ABS modules, ECUs, ignition and climate control modules, as well as security systems and complicated security integrated engine control systems.
Further strengthening CoolDrive’s engine management offerings are its specialised training events, held across the country at various times across the year.
These training events provide attendees opportunities to hone their skills and learn new vehicle system technology from the industry’s leading trainers and experts.
Complementing these training sessions, but within the workshop, is CoolDrive’s technical resource platform, CoolData.
CoolData enables the professional workshop to diagnose, maintain and repair vehicles and trucks with technical drawings, a unique electronics data module including wiring diagrams and guided tests, and intelligent diagnostics called VESA.
