This is the philosophy DBA will present at the AAAExpo
More than rotors, more applications: this is how Disc Brakes Australia (DBA) will be presenting itself at this year’s Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo.
DBA explains that having grown from a humble family business to Australia’s leading manufacturer and distributor of brake rotors, DBA today is much more than just ‘the disc.’
DBA says its product range is constantly growing and already includes products lines such as a market-covering friction range (brake pads and shoes) and hydraulics (brake calipers and brake fluids).
An extensive product program extension is currently underway, which will see the introduction of further hydraulic and electronic parts, amongst others.
Secondly but no less important, DBA says it takes pride in the width of applications that form its product range, considered one of the pillars of its ongoing success.
With a brake rotor and brake pad for over 97 percent of all passenger cars and light commercial vehicles on Australian roads, DBA states it truly saves its trade partners the need to shop around. But it doesn’t stop there – DBA believes that only the ‘right’ product for the application offers the customer the braking experience that they expect and deserve.
Through its Sydney-based Research and Development team, DBA engineers and designs each product to the exact technical specifications, from OE replacement products to tough brake upgrades and high-performance racetrack applications.
While OE specifications are always not just met but exceeded, DBA enhances its products further through its unique, patented range of technical innovations, such as its ‘Kangaroo Paw’ ventilation design and the T2 and T3 slotting patterns, or application-specific friction formulations and shim designs, to name a few.
