Xtreme Clutch has recently launched a new performance upgrade kit for the Hyundai i20 N.
The new kit has been developed in-house at Xtreme Clutch and is available in sprung organic or sprung ceramic configurations for high performance street use or track use, respectively.
Xtreme Clutch, the performance, street, and motorsport division of Australian Clutch Services (ACS), has continued to develop its range of performance upgrades for the Hyundai N models after the success of its street and motorsport upgrade kits for the i30 N which were introduced in 2018.
The new upgrades incorporate the Xtreme Clutch lightweight 240mm alloy pressure plate and a performance single mass flywheel.
The kits also come complete with pressure plate bolts and flywheel bolts as well as an optional concentric slave cylinder.
Xtreme Clutch says the new upgrades result in a 30 percent increase in clamping force, and a 600 Nm torque capacity (organic friction disc) or
660 Nm torque capacity (ceramic friction disc).
“Our new range of upgrades for the i20 N have been specially designed to offer driveable performance upgrades for both high performance street cars and those that are being used for track days and dedicated motorsport use,” ACS Senior Mechanical Engineer, Stewart Furze, said.
“We have been working on these upgrades for 12 months and have put together a single-mass flywheel conversion that is paired with our modular 240mm alloy pressure plate to provide excellent pedal feel and also improve both throttle response and the automatic rev-matching feature in the vehicle.”
Xtreme Clutch has been continuing to expand its range to cover the latest vehicles in the Australian market.

“With so many tuning groups now developing performance upgrades for brand new vehicles, it is important for us to be able to provide street and track focused upgrades that can support the huge tuning potential of modern vehicle platforms.”
